Hunting for Sculptures (JFK Terminal 4)

With its unveiling in February 2014, “Outside Time” gave the terminal an artistic centerpiece. This 30-foot, 4,600-pound sculpture is made of more than 1,000 feet of metal tubing. Ninety percent of the structure is airborne. Famed Bulgarian artist Dimitar Lukanov was commissioned for the piece. It is one of three pieces he constructed for the terminal, with “Voice of Tomorrow” and “History of Time” rounding out the impressive collection.

“Outside Time” is located near the exiting escalators in Terminal 4
